Minorca is a grand island, not for its surface area but for the great diversity of its Mediterranean landscapes, in which thousand year old traditions live side by side with the latest innovations. What is surprising is its nature that remains intact, with green fields separated by miles and miles of dry-stone walls built by man, large areas of woodland and wetlands in which one finds a great variety of flora and fauna, with many indigenous species.
Visitors - children, adults, couples, families and groups - can enjoy dream-like beaches, small coves situated between high cliffs, a path that encircles the whole island (Cami de Cavalls), the curious local fiestas, the rich local gastronomy and an interesting historical heritage.
There is a wide range of cultural events on offer (concerts, exhibitions, guided tours around historical centres, local fiestas) and many leisure activities. One's stay is never long enough!
